First Aid Trainng for Parent’s & Teachers- a great initiative

An outdoor adventurer mom that I am, my probability close to harm and danger can be higher than those mom staying at home reading books and good music.

So an invite to cover for  the  Basic First Aid Training will be highly benefecial to me.

Augsut 12, 2017 ,  Basic First Aid Traning for Parents & Teachers was held at 3rdfloor of RAFI Studies Center. The event was facilitated by Base Camp Emergency Response Team, Inc in partnership with Gifted Kids Education Systems Inc.

The  group aims to teach parents and teachers basic and hands on training whenever emergencies happen at home or at school or wherever you go. There are protocols that needs to be done whenever emergencies happen.Specially for kids when growing up, their energies are unbelievable, they tend to be restless and sometimes when were too busy doing something our kids are too busy messing around and sometimes we can’t avoid accidents.

You cannot just volunter or offer for help without the proper training and knowledge how to handle the situation because this might lead to severe damage and putting the victim more at risk.

I was a bit late for the introduction, thanks to Casa Gorordo’s cafe latte wokes me up and  I still managed to sneak in.

We tackle common emergency situation below:

Factures, burns, choking, seizure, ashtma, heat stroke, insect bites & stings, animal bites, rabies, nosebleeding etc.

Below is the basic protocol when responding an emergency.

We spent the morning discussing steps on how to deal with emergencies and following the standard protocols adhered by Base Camp Emergency Response Team.
